Sharing Love Abundantly in Special Needs Families Is Here!
Sharing Love Abundantly in Special Needs Families: The 5 Love Languages for Parents Raising Children with Disabilities was released yesterday! Dr. Gary Chapman and I are absolutely delighted with the results of the project we’ve been working on for almost two years. Our prayer all along has been that it will be a simple and effective tool parents raising children with disabilities can add to their toolboxes.
But don’t take our word for it.
Instead, check out what Joni Eareckson-Tada, a worldwide leader in disability ministries had to say after she read it.

If you need more convincing these words from Amy Kendall, who leads the special needs ministry at Saddleback Church, might do the trick.

Thanks from Dr. Chapman and myself to those who purchase Sharing Love Abundantly in Special Needs Families. We will continue to pray for it to be a blessing to every member of your family.

Greetings, I am looking for books and resources to help me better understand how to serve and walk alongside families affected by disabilities. As I have the opportunity to serve at JAF each year, I want to learn more. These books will help me tremendously. Also, I will share these books with others so that they will be blessed too.

I also run a local support group for other special needs moms and I would love to share it with them as well! My son attends a special needs ministry so I would love to share this with the special needs ministry director. I am studying to become a mental health professional and would love to share it with future clients who are in a similar caregiver role as myself and have experienced the beautiful and very different life that special needs children bring.

I am interested in these books for a friend. I have adult twin sons with disabilities. My friend is starting this journey. Her daughter has Neurofibromatosis Type 1. There are 5 older siblings. I would love to get a copy! We are a family with a beautiful special needs daughter who is non-verbal. She was our first, and we have a 2 yr old girl as well. We have realized our marriage has been on the back burner, and we have just lived together in survival. We want to move towards something better, and learn how to love as a family together! I also hope that it would give us an opportunity to help others in the future.
Having a resource like this out there will be super helpful. I would like to read it and share it. As a Mom with a special needs son and no other previous introduction to the special needs community it has been a long journey through various obstacles and emotions. God has been faithful in every way, but it’s a good reminder that there are others walking the same or similar paths.
