- Iowa Public Radio ran a story about creating virtual free range experiences for chickens, complete with microphones and goggles. (I’m not making this up.) The man of steel’s response to the proposal was, “Wouldn’t it be easier to open the door and let them outside?”

- Delight: Neighbors stopping by to say they’ll be gone when the cherries on their tree ripen, so would I pick them?
