- Did you know that before 1974, when the exclamation mark was added to standard typewriter keyboards, it was made by striking the period key, backspacing, and then striking the apostrophe key? Perhaps this explains the proliferation of exclamation marks used by the writing public in recent decades!!!
- A week ago, I had a subdermal (that means just under the skin) lump removed from near my right hip bone. The biopsy determined it was a benign lump of fat. I’m vain enough to wish the lump had been a little bigger, so it would qualify as a weight loss plan. Or liposuction. I’m not picky. Just vain.
- I think winter weather after May 1 should be outlawed. Anyone want to say Amen to that?
