Here are three travel-related posts since I’m on the road this week:
- I wish I’d read the Missouri DOT page declaring as structurally sound the 3,510 foot Quincy Memorial Bridge (built in 1928) over the Mississippi River before I looked down halfway across the 3,175 foot bridge.
- If you want to see more lovely fall color, travel south 3 hours from central Iowa to northern Missouri and central Illinois. Their trees are glorious, and the roses are blooming wildly…on both sides of the bridge which is structurally sound.
- Hopefully, I can cover the puffy cold sore smack dab in the middle of my upper lip with lipstick so people think I’m into botox instead.
