\nof snuggling a baby,
\nof smelling his sweetness,
\nand marveling at his perfection.<\/p>\n

Ten days
\nof rocking and singing,
\nof his breath warm against my chest,
\nand his downy hair tickling my neck.<\/p>\n

Ten days
\nof counting blessings,
\nof falling in love with 8 pounds, 2 ounces,
\nand feeling his weight burrow deep into my heart.<\/p>\n

Home again
\nafter ten days,
\nwith half of me content to be back,<\/p>\n

and the other counting ten toes and ten fingers
\ntwo eyes, two ears,
\na stub nose and rosebud mouth
