In my family\u2019s collective opinion, homemade spaghetti sauce doesn\u2019t hold a candle to Hunt\u2019s Garlic and Herb sauce from the can.<\/p>\n<p>One of Hiram\u2019s all time favorite meals uses Uncle Ben\u2019s Rice, which makes us both happy since this recipe takes barely 45 minutes from start to finish. If you\u2019re looking for an easy throw together meal this winter, it\u2019s a good one.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Uncle Ben\u2019s Rice and Sausage Skillet Meal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 pound sausage\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1 box Uncle Ben\u2019s Long Grain &amp; Wild Rice<br \/>\n2 cups celery, chopped\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1 cup onion, chopped<\/p>\n<p>Brown sausage in frying pan. Drain off grease. Add chopped vegetables. Add water, rice and seasoning packet, according to directions on the box. Bring to boil, turn down heat and put lid on pan. Cook for 25 minutes and serve.<\/p>\n<p>You can add more or fewer onions or substitute any other vegetables your family likes.
